There aren’t any naked people in the entire video clip. There’s some people that you’d probably see less of their skin on a beach, but only because on a beach they’d probably be wearing a bikini top as well as whatever else they have on. And this is New York City, where toplessness is legal regardless of gender or assigned sex.
Toplessness for breasts is legal in most places in the US, unlegislated in almost all that remain, and only illegal in two states: Ohio and Tennessee.
This is because topless equality has been a basic push from feminists for literally decades, until Radfems and NeoCons bonded over wanting a trans genocide less than a decade ago.
It’s literally why the “no tits on tumblr” and other lesser SESTA/FOSTA consequences* like it were so jarring. It set back FORTY. YEARS. OF PROGRESS in the rights of people with breasts or perceived as women to wear the same clothes as people without.
Do not let conservatives lie to you about this. The majority of people in the us and the VAST majority of States recognize the right of people to not wear a damn shirt. It isn’t obscenity, it isn’t even nudity, it’s just something pericis men are allowed that everyone else isn’t.

Tumblr is so funny because you can make a post like “hey do not mix bleach and vinegar in your cleaning, you’ll make chlorine gas and you do not want to make chlorine gas. It is dangerous to mix these two specific chemicals together”, and the comments are like
“Um vinegar isn’t dangerous?? My mom cleans things with vinegar all the time and we have never had lung issues. White people are insane.” (<- does not use bleach, missing the point)
“OH MY GOD BLEACH IS CHLORINE GAS? NOBODY EVER TOLD ME I’VE BEEN CLEANING WITH BLEACH MY WHOLE LIFE, I WILL DIE.” (<- has literally never used vinegar in cleaning, and never mixed the two, missing the point)
“This is just stupid fearmongering, we use bleach and vinegar to wash the floors all the time, OP is lying.” (<- does not actually know what “vinegar” is, and is confusing the word for something else)
“Yeah this is true enough but also keep in mind that this kind of household cleaning product chlorine gas is too weak and unreliable to use for domestic terrorism purposes.” (<- raises concerns, but potentially has a point)
“Authors should not be ALLOWED to write about–” you are an anti-intellectual and functionally a conservative

Literally right after I saw this post, I saw another post in a discord chat for BOOK EDITORS in which an outspokenly liberal editor talked about how Nabokov should have never been published because he wrote about p*dophiles and described women’s bodies in ways that made her uncomfortable. She described his writing as “objectively terrible” and said she wanted to burn his books. And other editors were bringing up classics they didn’t like and talking about how they wanted to throw them in the trash. This wasn’t like a light “unpopular opinion!” conversation. This was actual book editors talking about how books should be destroyed and censored.
There is something so scary and toxic in global culture right now. The revival of fascism is influencing everyone’s mindset and approach to art, regardless of where they fall on the political spectrum.
I see far more books being censored today than when I was a kid. Librarians handed me The Catcher in the Rye, The Sexual Politics of Meat, and Animal Farm when I was literally 8-11. My mom would never have taken a book away from me. I read everything from the Tao Te Ching to the Qur'an to atheist texts under my desk at school. Teachers thought nothing of it or encouraged it. Books seemed universally acknowledged as sacrosanct to me.
Now I can’t find any adults who don’t hesitate or want to make exceptions when it comes to censorship. Even the most liberal social activist librarians I know go, “well except for book X…”
Functionally conservative. It’s so important to have the language to express that.

So my in laws work in the dog business and I now horrifically curious if my mother in law has heard similar bonkers ideas. I know there’s definitely people out there with strong opinions about neutering pets.. (there’s even an industry for fake dog testicles so if you HAVE to neuter your dog you can get prosthetics put in) and I wouldn’t be suprised if they overlapped
W…why would you give your dog prosthetic testicles? Do people think dogs have enough insight into biology to see testicles as the source of their sense of “masculinity?” Do they think dogs HAVE a sense of masculinity??
There is unfortunately a surprising amount of people out there who legitimately think neutering dogs, especially male dogs, is another form of basically force feminization and that yes, male dogs do know and mourn the loss of their nuts.
The guy who invented basically fake dog nuts is a wild story btw that I highly recommend reading.

People were tagging me in this post for the conspiracy stuff and I made the mistake of not reading the comments. I was gonna make a whole post about how fear of chip implants has its roots in the satanic panic, but whatever is happening here is far more insane.
On the positive side, Neuticles have made it easier for people to neuter male pets when their partners are resistant to the idea. Schedule surgery when resistant partner is out of town for a while, have Neuticles implanted, remove cone of shame before resistant partner gets home.
